I grew up in Puerto Rico and Jersey City, NJ—two places full of life, grit, and stories. Movies were always a passion, but it wasn’t until I watched Oliver Stone’s The Doors that I caught the filmmaking bug. From that moment, I knew I had to go to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. My teachers said it wasn’t realistic, but I made it anyway. Ha!
I loved crafting beautiful images, so I started as a camera operator and DP. But when I got into editing, I realized—that’s where the real filmmaking happens. I hooked up with Picture Farm Productions in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where I spent nearly a decade cutting commercials and kicking ass. As a senior editor, I picked up a few shiny things along the way: Cannes Lions, Clios, and an Emmy.
Curiosity always pushes me forward. I started exploring VFX and motion graphics, but color... color became an obsession. I convinced some producers to let me grade the commercials I edited—and they weren’t mad at the results. I kept honing my skills, and now, I’m a decent colorist too.
These days, I’m a one-stop shop for all things post-production—or as they say, vertically integrated.
